SAS Alternative is my new serialized story appearing in the SAS anthology, a mini comic that artist Eric Kim and I publish every blue moon.

Darrin just transferred to SAS Alternative High School. The art teacher is a radical Anarchist and the English teacher keeps rearranging the furniture to improve the school's feng-shui. SAS High may have it's share of geeks and outcasts but even a school full of misfits has its pariah: Clara spends every waking moment in the art room. She never leaves, not for lunch, not for classes, not even after school and Darrin's determined to find out why.

SAS #1 Backup Story
Mars Graffiti Nonsense - 6 Pages - Posted Nov 2002
An experiment. After doing Mars (below) I figured I was getting a bit too verbose given that some of its pages were half text. Also I'd picked up several imported Japanese Manga. It was interesting trying to puzzle out what was happening without being able to read any of the dialogue. So I decided to do a comic with minimal dialogue, all written in an unintelligible invented alphabet. This was originally printed in SAS #1.

24 Hour Comic
Mars Mars (a failed 24 Hr Comic) - 9 Pages - Posted Oct 2001
Comic artist Scott McCloud invented the 24 hour comic. The idea in his word is: "To create a complete 24 page comic book in 24 continuous hours". Last year me and my friend Andrew gave it a try (each doing our own comic). We failed. These nine pages show the first scene in a story about immigrating to a terraformed Mars. The art is rushed and there isn't much of a story due to the time constraints.
